Seven Rugby Tournament Will Return to Vegas in 2016

The USA Seven International Rugby Tournament will return to Las Vegas for 2016 and through 2019. This follows five years of consecutive growth in attendance numbers. The three-day tournament will take place next spring on March 4 to 6.

The tournament began running in Las Vegas in 2010. Since then the attendance rates have more than doubled. Seven is celebrated the week before with rugby festivities, creating excitiment for the actual tournament. In 2015, 75,000 rugby fans watched the tournament at Sam Boyd Stadium. The fans generated $27 million for the local economy.

Sixteen top rugby teams will compete in the tournament in 2016.
