Top Las Vegas 4th of July 2013 Celebrations and Firework Shows

Las VegasLas Vegas will be hosting firework displays and celebrations through 4th of July weekend. The holiday falls on a Thursday, so casinos, hotel bars and pool parties are all expected to start celebrating as early as June 29, 2013. Travelers are encouraged to plan ahead and book flights early because tickets are limited and become expensive. For those who still have not booked tickets to Vegas, there is still time to search to receive discounts. Check out Travel Agent's round up of firework shows across Vegas on Independence Day:

1. Caesar's Palace Fireworks - The luxury hotel and casino will have a fireworks show in honor of Independence Day on July 4, 2013. Fireworks by Grucci will be launched from the hotel's Roman Tower. For the best view, guests can go on Margaritaville Casino's third floor balcony or from the Strip at the front fountains of Caesar's Palace.

2. Station Casinos' 4th of July Fireworks Blast - The Station Casinos Las Vegas 2013 fireworks shows will launch at Green Valley Ranch Resort, Fiesta Rancho, Texas Station and Red Rock Casino Resort. The show will start at 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, 2013.

3. Lake Las Vegas Fireworks - Located in Henderson, Nevada, the Lake will start celebrating on June 29, 2013, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Live musical performances and food stations will be offered throughout The Village. Fireworks will be shot over the Lake and can be best viewed from The Village starting at 9 p.m.

4. July 4th with the Las Vegas Philharmonic - The orchestra will perform at The Smith Center, including Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" and artists Clint Holmes and Kristen Hertzenberg will make guest appearances. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Reynolds Hall. Watch the fireworks go off from the lobby or in Symphony Park at around 9 p.m. Cost is $10 for adults and children 12 and under $5.

5. Boulder City Damboree Celebration - The city will present its 65th annual Damboree festivities on July 4. Celebrations kick off with a parade at 9 a.m., and food, drinks and entertainment from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Broadbent Memorial Park. Veterans' Memorial Park will also host a pie-eating contest at 6 p.m. The fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m.

Other 4th of July 2013 events include the Henderson 4th of July Celebration at Mission Hills Park on July 4 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Las Vegas 51s' Fireworks Extravaganza will also welcome the Tuscon Padres with a baseball game starting at 7 p.m. Lastly, the Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade will take place at Hills Center Drive at 9 a.m.
