Top Las Vegas Fourth of July Celebrations

Las VegasWith Fourth of July falling on a Friday this year, expect the partying to start on Wednesday and last through the weekend. Travelers can expect a host of fireworks displays alongside various parties and events taking place throughout the city. Check out our roundup of the best ways to spend your Independence Day. 

Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower’s Fun on the Fourth Extravaganza offers something for both adults and families. Adults can celebrate America’s freedom at Stratosphere 8’s pool party featuring live concerts, special cabana packages and a fireworks show by Grucci. The part starts at 6pm and admission is $10. Those looking for a view with their cocktails can enjoy the fireworks display from the level 107 dance lounge. Families can enjoy the show from the level 108 and 109 towers with sweeping views of the entire valley. Guests of the hotel will receive a special discount price of $10.

The Primm Valley Casino and Resorts will be offering a free fireworks show on July fourth. The hotels dessert location will offer unparalleled firework views, unobstructed by the city lights. Guests are encouraged to arrive early in order to get the best viewing location in the Star of the Desert Arena parking lot at Buffalo Bill’s Resort & Casino.

The Station Casino's franchise will set off numerous shows spread around the valley at their several resorts, including Green Valley Ranch in Henderson and the Red Rock Hotel and Casino in the north. The show will commence shortly after 9 PM and will last about nine minutes.

Caesars Palace will be hosting their spectacular annual fireworks show. Fireworks by Grucci wil be set off from the hotel’s Roman Tower at 9.15pm. The best views will be from the Las Vegas strip at the front fountains of the hotel.

UFC International Fight Week at Fremont Street ExperienceVisitors can celebrate underneath the viva vision canopy with UFC International Fight Week and Fremont Street Experience’s Rock of Vegas summer concert series running from July 1 -6. The 5 day events offers an array of activities to keep guests busy over the holiday including  the Ulti-man 5k run, meet-and-greets and autograph signings with UFC fighters, and a free concert with rockers Papa Roach, P.O.D. and Lit with a fireworks show displayed on the Viva Vision canopy screen.

Boulder City Damboree "Wings of Freedom"For a more subdued experience, visitors can head to the Vegas suburb of Boulder City, which will be hosting its 66th annual city Damboree. There will be all day carnivals and entertainment from 7am-11pm, starting with a rotary pancake breakfast at Bicentennial Park, a parade down the Nevada highway, a kids water zone and the highlight of the event, the 9pm fireworks show.

The Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade - The Summerlin community will be celebrating not only Independence Day but the 20th anniversary of their Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade. The event will have more than seventy entries including marching bands, floats and giant inflatable balloons. The parade kicks off at 9am.

Just south of Las Vegas, The city of Henderson will celebrate with two stages of entertainment beginning at 6pm and a free fireworks display at Mission Hills Park, at 9pm
