Spring break in Las Vegas promises to be wild this year as the destination gains in popularity heading into the warm season. In a Travelocity poll released in early February, Vegas shot from number 9 last year to number this year in terms of most popular spring break destinations. With spring break kicking into high gear, Sin City is reopening its famous pool parties and stepping up its events - here are five that should be on your clients' radar. 

Wet Republic

The Wet Republic Ultra Pool at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino opens March 14 with the unveiling of the second phase of its two-year remodel. 

The first phase of the remodel debuted in 2013 and welcomed a newly renovated and expanded DJ booth, an upgraded LED display, expanded bar, along with new furniture and finishing touches. This season, the pool has added an additional 1,500 square feet. Guests can enjoy six new VIP bungalows equipped with plush furniture, TVs and misting fans, all accompanied by three private plunge pools. The venue has also added new restroom and shower facilities and an extended shaded area. 

For entertainment, the pool will kick off the season with Dutch duo Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano along with turntable pair W&W as they make their WET REPUBLIC debut Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30. Additionally, Grand Opening weekend events Friday, April 4 through Sunday, April 6 will include debut DJ sets by Calvin Harris, Dada Life and more.

Rehab

Rehab is the pool experience at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Offering three pools with different vibes - the high-energy Paradise Beach, the relaxed Nirvana and the view-friendly Breathe - travelers can take advantage of cabanas, daybeds and banquettes, as well as day and nighttime parties, events and spontaneous revelry throughout the spring and summer. 

Rehab reopens for the sesason April 12. Admission is $20 for women and $40 for men.

Encore Beach Club

The Encore Beach Club at Wynn Las Vegas offers 26 cabanas, each stocked with refrigerators, flat screen TVs and a plush daybed. There are eight bungalows with private bathrooms, infinity dipping pools, cooling systems and views of the Strip. 

For music lovers, the pool is home to artists like David Guetta and Avicii.

Liquid Pool Lounge

Liquid at Aria Resort & Casino kicks off its season March 13. Guests can enjoy eight private grand cabanas, two VIP pools and a 50-seat restaurant and bar with full food and drink service.

Palms Pool

For the entire month of March, Palms Casino Resort is offering a special spring break deal for its pool and nightclubs. Guests with a valid college ID gain free entry into the pool, Ghostbar, Moon Nightclub and The View. $5 Bud Lights and $8 Absolut cocktails will be available for drinks on a budget at the pool daily and at the nighttime venues. College students can also enjoy a hosted open bar at Moon Nightclub (11 p.m. until 2 a.m.) or Ghostbar (10 p.m. until 1 a.m.) for just $69 per person.
