Entertainment executive Howard Weiss has recently announced two new shows he plans on bringing to Tropicana Las Vegas in 2017. Earlier this year Penn National Gambling appointed its Vice President Howard Weiss to oversee day and nightlife at Tropicana Las Vegas and M Resort Spa and Casino. Since his appointment, Weiss’ role has since expanded to include entertainment at both resorts. Tropicana Las Vegas’ new shows will include Cherry Cherry Boom Boom and Band of Magicians.

Cherry Cherry Boom Boom, which opened Wednesday, September 14, is a sexy, modern stage production that’s telling a universal love story through, dance, acting, music and specialty acts through a new “Rock ‘n Roll a Go-Go” genre. Tickets for the show start at $59, and audience members must be 18 years of age or older.

Band of Magicians, opening Wednesday, October 26, is more than your typical Las Vegas magic show, with four of the world’s brightest young magicians in their new group. Both shows run Wednesday through Monday inside the Tropicana Theater, with Band of Magicians starting at 7 p.m. and Cherry Cherry Boom Boom at 9 p.m. Tickets for this show start at $39.

Since beginning in his new position, Weiss reintroduced M Resort’s DayDream Pool Club and opened the new Sky Beach Club, which welcomed celebrities like 50 Cent, Rob Kardashian and Floyd Mayweather.

In addition to the launch of the Strip’s two new shows, Weiss has been revamping entertainment off the strip as well. M Resort’s new entertainment acts include famed comic Gilbert Gottfried, who performed to a full house at M Resort just last month. Wednesday nights brings live country bands to a lineup of musicians performing in the resort’s Ravello Lounge. Weiss has also said he plans on reintroducing concerts at the 100,000 square-foot M Resort pool.

Weiss said that after a successful pool season, he is attempting to ramp up the entertainment at Tropicana by introducing the two new shows. He also hinted that a few, undisclosed higher caliber acts are in the work for M Resort during 2017, but no official information has been released.
