The Venetian Las Vegas to Debut The Dorsey Cocktail Bar This Winter

Debuting on New Year’s Eve, The Dorsey at The Venetian Las Vegas is set to be a “must-visit” spot on the Strip for craft cocktails and a comfortable and upbeat environment.

The bar was a collaborative effort between award-winning bartender Sam Ross of New York City’s Attaboy and Milk & Honey, David Rabin, the creative mind of New York’s Café Clover, The Skylark, The Lambs Club, and JIMMY and the James, and James Beard award winner Thomas Schlesser of the Design Bureaux.

One of the signature cocktails – a Ross creation – is already receiving national attention: the sweet and smoky Penicillin, which the New York Times recently named to its list of 11 essential drinks of the “modern cocktail revival.”

The Dorsey will include a combination of French oak, leather, brass, and marble.  Large leather sofas will provide intimate spaces for gathering and conversation.

The Dorsey will be located on the casino floor of The Venetian, adjacent to Restaurant Row, and will offer a setting distinct – though accessible – from the casino.
