2011 was a big year for Las Vegas, as travel agents saw group travel demand return along with increased air capacity to Sin City. What should you keep in mind to better sell Las Vegas to your clients in 2012?

While no new hotel properties are set to open, Caesars Palace has a new luxury hotel tower in the works. The 180-room Nobu tower will offer a luxury experience in the space previously occupied by Caesars' Centurion tower. David Rockwell of The Rockwell Group, who recently designed The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, will design the first Nobu hotel around the globe. The property will also feature a Nobu restaurant and lounge.

If you'd like a little bang for your buck, check out the firing range and lounge at Machine Guns Vegas. The company offers guests transportation from their hotel to a firing range where they can fire exotic weaponry. New restaurants include the Old Homestead Steakhouse and the extravagant Hyde Bellagio from Sam Nazarian, an indoor/outdoor lounge designed by Philippe Starck featuring a spectacular view of the Bellagio's fountains. On the entertainment front, Madame Tussauds will undergo a complete renovation while Celine Dion has launched a new residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
