Wynn Prepares Day-to-Nightlife Experience for Summer in Vegas

Steve Wynn, nightlife impresario Sean Christie and casino marketing veteran Bob Mancari are partnering to unveil an expansive entertainment complex in Las Vegas this Memorial Day. The Encore Beach Club, Surrender Nightclub and a newly revamped SWITCH restaurant will blend the daytime beach party, upscale restaurant and sexy nightclub into an experience that will transition guests from day to night.

Encore Beach Club will be a destination for those seeking the party atmosphere found in hot spots across Europe. Upon entering the 60,000-square-foot venue, guests will be treated to an oasis that features 40-foot palm trees surrounding three tiered pools with chaise lounges, couches and day beds featuring private safes. Guests preferring a cooler spot can choose to lounge on oversized lily pads resting in shallow water or dance under one of the shower poles. Encore Beach Club's gaming pavilion will beckon those looking to try their luck at blackjack or craps.

A more private Encore Beach Club experience can be had at one of the 26 cabanas outfitted with refrigerators and flat-screen TVs. The exclusivity of the eight two-story bungalows spanning 350 square-feet will include views of the Las Vegas Strip and of the pool itself. These VIP enclaves feature individual hot tubs, showers, lavish furnishings and a temperature-controlled cooling and heating system set to each guest's preferences.

Christie, who opened and operates Blush Boutique Nightclub at Wynn and Society Cafe at Encore, has created an entertainment platform that will showcase chart-topping acts including electronic music artists Kaskade and Steve Aoki.

As day turns into night, the party moves into Surrender Nightclub as DJ Steve Aoki will energize Friday. The 5,000 square-foot nightclub will open up to the surrounding outdoor oasis as the seasons allow.

Encore Beach Club will also feature its own grill available to all patrons, while cabana and bungalow guests will also be able to indulge in flavorful fare from executive chef Rene Lenger at SWITCH restaurant's new 1,200-square foot outdoor patio. The back wall of the restaurant will be removed and replaced with glass, so diners can gaze at the Surrender Nightclub scene.

Encore Beach Club will be open  Friday - Sunday, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Monday - Thursday, 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Surrender Nightclub will be open Thursday - Saturday, 10 p.m. - closing.
