Guests and Artists to Rub Elbows at Arizona Resort

Arizona sunsetThe guest artist series “Artists in Sanctuary,” at the Scottsdale, Arizona luxury resort Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain, will hold events this spring meant to facilitate conversation between featured artists and art lovers.  Those who attend will be given the opportunity to gain an educational understanding of the artistic process.

Every Thursday evening, from 5:30 to 7:30, the resort will hold complimentary wine and cheese receptions, where guests can rub elbows with the artist of the week.  These receptions have been gracefully planned to coincide with the local Scottsdale Artwalk, and the resort offers a free trolley to shuttle guests between the two.

On April 4th Sanctuary will host a community outreach raffle, hosted by featured local artist Beth Swartz.  Raffle tickets are $300, with pieces valued at $1500.

Sanctuary offers an “Art Indulgence Package” from April 11th to the 14th, starting at $1437 for two.  With this package, guests will spend three nights in one of Sanctuary’s mountain casitas, luxury suites carved into the mountain side overlooking Paradise Valley, and be given a personal demonstration by renowned artists showcased at the prestigious Beals and Abbate Gallery in Santa Fe.  Also included in their stay, guests are invited to enjoy a gourmet dinner crafted by Food Network star Chef Beau MacMillan.  Seats at this dinner may also be purchased separately for $75 per person.

Sanctuary was named the number one resort in Arizona in Travel & Leisure, and the number one resort in the Southwest in Condé Nast Traveler’s “Readers’ Choice Awards.
