Three Reno Resorts Announce Renovations

Facility enhancements of over $50 million dollars have been announced by Eldorado Resorts, Inc., with plans to renovate Eldorado Reno, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus Reno, three of its connected properties in downtown Reno. Spanning three years, the renovations will begin at the end of 2016 and include the renovation of 4,100 guestrooms, new restaurant concepts, reinvigorated night life and resort amenities.

Eldorado Reno

A focal point of the renovation at the Eldorado Reno will be the new two floor spa. At 20,000 square feet, the full-service spa will embody a Zen Tahoe-style atmosphere developed by its designers Trilogy Spa Holdings, who will partner with Eldorado Resorts, Inc.

Hidden Pizza will be a new addition to the hotel, offering fresh pizza available late into the night. The resort's chic ultra-lounge, Bar Centro, will receive several upgrades, including additional seating, a larger dance floor and an island bar.

The guest rooms will be updated to reflect a refined and luxurious aesthetic influenced by the opulence of Eldorado, the mythical South American City of Gold.

Silver Legacy

The all-new 8,500 square-foot William Hill Race and Sports Book opened September 8 with seating for 167, 60 televisions and two high-definition LED walls each measuring 27 feet wide by 9 feet high. The bar includes 20 beers on tap as well as 18 video poker machines, which makes it the only book in northern Nevada with a video poker bar.

Silver Legacy will be focusing on the renovation of its guest bathrooms. Updates will include rich, modern accessories complemented by soothing furnishings reminiscent of the views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains

Canter’s Delicatessen, voted best pastrami by the Los Angeles Times and LA Weekly, will open at the resort this fall serving authentic Jewish deli cuisine. The Rum Bullions Island Bar will receive an updated design to transport guests to a seaside getaway.

The renovation will also create a new high-tech Dome Experience that will serve as a central attraction at the Silver Legacy.

Circus Circus Reno

Finally, at Circus Circus Reno, a major focal point of the renovation will be the lighting of its towers with new LED lighting technology. The guest rooms will also receive a complete facelift taking inspiration from “The Greatest Show on Earth” to reflect a modern and whimsical design.

Dining will be enhanced with a new casual food court, replacing the Circus Circus Buffet to deliver brand name eateries as well as seating for up to 180 people. In addition, Café Americana will be completely renovated and offer American food classics all day. The resort will also introduce Kokopelli’s Cantina, offering a fusion of Japanese and Mexican cuisine.

The Carnival Midway will be reinvented and given a more whimsical European feel. It will continue to offer a variety of performers, entertainment and games. The Race and Sports Book will undergo renovations to include upgraded sports viewing with state-of-the-art big screen TVs and a new sports bar and lounge.
