The 80 year old oceanfront property Hotel Mar Monte in Santa Barbara, California will be rebranded as the Hyatt Santa Barbara, undergoing a transformation that will offer guests a blend of Spanish colonial architecture and contemporary facilities. The first of many phases includes a makeover of 92 guest rooms, lobby area and landscaping, as well as the pool and deck section. The 79 rooms that remain will resume renovation in October 2011.
Already half of the Hyatt's 171 stylish guestrooms each feature ocean or mountain views. Hotel amenities and services include a heated outdoor pool and whirlpool, fitness center, spa, business center and the Bistro 1111 restaurant. Hyatt Santa Barbara is the newest addition to a collection of 23 Hyatt brand properties offering restful and contemporary rooms and the expertise of enthusiastic insiders to help guests make the most of their stay.
