Victoria Cruises, Avalon Waterways Partner to Debut China/Mongolia Program

Victoria Cruises is joining forces with Avalon Waterways to create an 18-day China and Mongolia with Yangtze River cruise program, one of several new soft adventure itineraries being launched by the Globus family of brands in 2009. Victoria Cruises is the exclusive provider of Yangtze River cruise segments for every applicable Avalon Waterways departure.

The itinerary includes a five-day sailing along the Yangtze River on the five-star Victoria Anna; accommodations in several world-class properties, including the Hilton Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia, Shangri-La Golden Flower Hotel in Xi'an, and deluxe Westin properties in Shanghai and Beijing.

Travelers spend one night in the Gobi Desert in an authentic Mongolian Ger Camp. Also included in the tour are daily breakfasts, 13 lunches and 14 dinners; intra-tour flights; and a variety of shore excursions and cultural sightseeing, including Shanghai, Xi’an and Beijing.

Pricing for the program begins at $5,709 per person, double occupancy, and does not include international air transportation. Globus can provide competitively priced, add-on airfare from most U.S. gateways.
