April 16, 2007 By: Debbie Strong Travel Agent

Company offers wedding and honeymoon packages at five Caribbean resorts

Engaged couples interested in a Caribbean wedding, honeymoon, or both have several options with Elite Island Resorts, which offers on-island wedding ceremonies and honeymoon combination packages. Couples can save with the company's new promotion: Now through December, Elite Islands is offering couples a free customized wedding package (an $899 value) at any of five Caribbean resorts when they book an all-inclusive luxury category honeymoon stay of seven nights or more. Taking part in the promotion are Grand Pineapple Beach in Antigua

The wedding plan special includes a tropical site for the
wedding and reception; a wedding cake; a bottle of champagne; a bridal bouquet
and a boutonniere for the groom; registrar and government fees, on-site wedding
coordinator; ceremony fees and all taxes and gratuities. Personalized add-ons,
such as a photographer, sparkling wine for the wedding party, music,
videotaping, and amenities like massages, special meals or sight-seeing
excursions, are available for additional fees.

Elite Island Resorts, which is based out of Florida, offers a
collection of off-the-beaten-track island destinations for couples to choose
from, each with a unique flavor, d├ęcor and atmosphere. Elite Island properties taking part in the
special are Long Bay Beach Resort & Villas, a secluded 52-acre
estate in Tortola, and Palm Island, which is on its own 135-acre island in
the Grenadines. Also included are three
Antigua resorts: Galley Bay, an exotic and private cottage-filled
property; St. James's Club and Villas, a 100-acre estate with a social
club-like ambiance set between two beaches near English Harbour; and The
a new intimate upscale retreat that will open in June 2007.

Agents should contact liaison Janine Hills,
the company's dedicated coordinator and group travel manager, to make
arrangements. Call 800-858-4618 ext. 126, or e-mail her at
[email protected].

Advance planning is ideal; Elite Islands
allows just one wedding a day at each property, so couples should begin making
arrangements once they've chosen a wedding date.

"I would recommend at least eight months in advance for
wedding planning, guests bookings and possibly doing a site inspection prior to
the wedding," says Hill.
