Vegas.com, one of the largest city destination travel websites in the world, is promoting the date of November 11, 2011, (or 11/11/11), as the premiere day for couples to come to Las Vegas for their nuptial needs. They have established a list of places in Las Vegas for those who wish to propose, celebrate their bachelor or bachelorette party, get married or celebrate their honeymoon this November.

In regards to marriage proposals, there are a few locations that Vegas.com recommends for the occasion. The Fountains of Bellagio, with its water, lights and music, provides a romantic backdrop. The Mirage Volcano, with its unique location, and the Apollo Night Flight Tour, with its trip over the Strip, also provide other options for marriage proposals. Bachelor and bachelorette parties can be celebrated in a few select places, according to Vegas.com experts. Zumanity, which reflects the more sensual side of Cirque du Soleil, is a performance that can be seen inside New York-New York. Bachelorettes can attend the Night School 4 Girls at the Excalibur, where they will learn the art of seduction with makeup tips given by former Playboy Playmate, Laura Croft. Bachelors can also visit the Playboy Club at the Fantasy Tower in the Palms, where they will drink cocktails and play blackjack.

When it comes to the actual wedding ceremony, there are several types of wedding chapels available in Las Vegas. If couples are fans of Elvis, there are many chapels with Elvis impersonators willing to marry them. There is also a special package offered at the wedding chapel at Planet Hollywood, which is the original location of where Elvis married Priscilla Presley in 1967. The wedding chapels at Treasure Island provide services that include a full-service florist and limousine service. The “Enchantment” package also provides an outdoor ceremony on the hotel’s pirate ship with the captain as the minister. For a romantic backdrop, there is the Paris Chapel at Paris Las Vegas, and there are numerous packages available, including “Paris Perfection”, which comes with a four-night stay in one of the hotel’s suites.

The honeymoon destinations in Las Vegas include Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace. It features deluxe couple’s suites and the Roman-inspired spa provides extensive services. Couples can also visit the Gondolas at Lake Las Vegas for a boat ride with a gourmet dinner, champagne, and a serenade. There is also the show, Phantom-The Las Vegas Spectacular, which includes original songs from the Broadway hit.
