AirTran Goes to the Cleaners

AirTran Airways launched an innovative new advertising program aimed at White Plains, N.Y., dry-cleaning customers. The airline is using environmentally friendly, recyclable hangers to convey advertising messages. The messages, six in all, will be featured on 250,000 custom-made hangers at 80 Westchester County dry cleaners while supplies last. The hangers communicate the airline's many features, including affordable Business Class, Net Escapes, XM Satellite Radio, new Boeing planes, low fares, convenient service and online booking.
