Alaska Airlines Adds Nonstop Flights to Anchorage, Steamboat Springs

alaska airlinesAlaska Airlines has announced a series of new nonstop flights. 

The airline just launched seasonal, nonstop service between Anchorage, Alaska, and Spokane, Washington, operating once weekly on Saturdays through August 27, 2016. 

The schedule is as follows:

Flights will be operated with fuel-efficient Boeing 737 aircraft. Onboard, customers can enjoy the airline's streaming entertainment service, Alaska Beyond Entertainment, offering both free and pay-per-view titles direct to customer devices along with inflight entertainment tablets available for rent, Pacific Northwest-inspired food and beverages and custom leather seats.

The airline has also announced that it will begin new nonstop service between San Diego and Hayden/Steamboat Springs, Colorado, starting December 17, 2016, and running through March 25, 2017. 

This represents an expansion of service beyond the nonstop flights operated between Seattle and Hayden/Steamboat Springs, and complements existing nonstop service to ski resorts including California's Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort and other resorts near Salt Lake City, Alaska Airlines said.

Alaska will fly the routes with 76-seat E175 jets, operated by SkyWest Airlines, which have 12 seats in first class, 12 seats in premium class and 52 seats in the main cabin. Onboard amenities include Wi-Fi Internet access, and Alaska Beyond Entertainment and power outlets in the first class cabin.
