Jumby Bay Reopens After Renovation

Jumby Bay, a Rosewood Resort in Antigua, reopens its doors today after closing in June 2008 for a $28 million renovation. The new face of the resort includes Sense, A Rosewood Spa, 28 new suites, a new open-air Verandah and bistro-style restaurants and two new Estate Homes.

The open-air spa includes five personal spa suites, including a Duet Suite. This is Jumby Bay's first stand-alone spa. Signature treatments include a Rumba Scrub and Massage.

New dining options include the Verandah, the unofficial clubhouse of the resort. At the Verandah Restaurant, guests can take hands-on gastronomic classes led by Executive Chef Juan Pablo Loza and local Antiguan chefs. There is also the new Pool Grille, offering healthy fare at the Oceanfront Infinity Pool.

Finally the resort unveils its two new Estate Homes, with private pools, kitchens and use of the resort services included.

Reopening rates start at $1,150 per night, all-inclusive.
