Joe Pike is Travel Agent's senior editor covering the Caribbean, Bahamas & Bermuda; Hawaii; Central & South America. Previously, Pike was a newspaper reporter for The Asbury Park Press based in the Jersey Shore, covering local news. In 2009, Pike was awarded the Jamaica Tourist Board's Marcia Vickery-Wallace Memorial Award for Excellence in Travel Journalism. Pike then won the Caribbean Tourism Organization's Inner Circle King Award for Best Feature Article in a Trade Publication in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2016. He received his Master's Degree in Newspaper, Magazine and Online Journalism from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
