Avalon Waterways has announced it is offering free air fare for passengers flying from the U.S. to Europe and $299 fare for cruises in southeast Asia. The cruise line also announced discounts of $500 per person for European trips and $1,000 per couple for southeast Asian cruises.
Avalon’s European air deal covers select cruises with departure dates from September to December. It only applies to flights leaving from LAX, EWR, JFK, IAD, BWI, BOS and ORD. Other cities may receive prices of $200 to $1,075 per person. Passengers may combine this deal with the $500 per person deal and Welcome Back Credit.
The cruise company’s southeast Asia deal provides trans-Pacific air fare at $299 per person round trip from certain U.S. airports. It includes air for travel packages from September 2018 to very early January 2019. This does not cover intra-vacation air, which ranges from $200 to $502.
The European $500 per person discount applies to select cruise packages the rest of 2018. The southeast Asian $1,000 per person deal covers select Mekong and Irrawaddy river cruises from September to December. Both can be used in combination with repeat traveler benefit and the flight discount if it’s offered.
All deals apply to travel and cruises in 2018 and cannot be used for pre-existing bookings. Each offer runs until July 24.
Avalon Waterways’ European cruises feature 200-square-foot Panorama Suites and Open-Air Balconies. Trips can include regional wine and beer with dinner, artisan demonstrations and cultural excursions. The company’s Mekong River Suite ships, holding a maximum of 36 guests, offer an intimate experience in Vietnam and Cambodia.
