We're just back from the ends of the earth. Literally. And we had no desire to return home. This past weekend Travel Agent visited Grand Solmar Land's End Resort & Spa in Los Cabos, Mexico which sits at the southernmost point of Baja California. You literally will not find land until Hawaii

The resort, which has been a work in progress for the last two years, is built directly into the iconic rocks of Los Cabos, overlooking the crashing Pacific Ocean and pristine beach.

We cozied into room no. 6205, overlooking one of the resort's many pools from our private balcony. Tip: Order room service and take a nap on one of the plush balcony day beds. You will not be sorry.

Guests staying at the resort can dine at restaurants La Roca, Don Luis or one of three pool bars. Our favorite was Las Brisas snack bar. Here guests can dine at one of the resort's infinity pools overlooking the ocean. (Try the tuna sushi! Yes, sushi in Mexico!) Be sure to ask about the resort's tequila tastings or wine making classes, which are as informative as they are indulgent.

While there is no spa on site (yet…stay tuned), guests can request seaside treatments at the Sea Spa Cabanas on site. If you prefer something indoors, head over to sister property Playa Grande for an extensive menu of signature experiences.

Who to book: While we saw plenty of families at the resort, this property was built for romance. We say book your twitterpated clients at this particular property. If the views aren't enough to make them coo lovingly at each other, the deep soaking tubs in the rooms will certainly do the trick.
