Bermuda Resort Announces Second Annual Bacardi Golf Tournament

The Fairmont Southampton and Bacardi International announced the second-annual Bacardi National Par-3 Championship – a two-day, 36-hole championship golf event that will be held March 26-27 on The Fairmont Southampton Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda.

The Fairmont Southampton Golf Course is a Ted Robinson-designed course widely considered among the top par-3 golf courses in North America. The Bacardi National Par-3 Championship is open to amateur and professional golfers with professional and amateur divisions for both men and ladies.

Last year’s winners – Men’s National Par 3 Champion Daniel Augustus and Ladies National Par 3 Champion Susan Bond – will return to defend their titles. The tournament is sanctioned by the Bermuda Golf Association, as well as the PGA of Bermuda. Tournament players will receive national qualification points.

A Pro-Am will be played on Friday, March 25. Entry fee is $225 for professionals and $175 for amateurs. Proceeds will benefit Bermuda Red Cross. Entry fee includes a practice round of golf, a 36-hole tournament, lunch both days of the championship and a welcome gift for all participants.
