Big Sky, Montana has announced that it will be celebrating summer 2016 with a variety of outdoor adventures, cultural events and celebrations, along with special lodging packages from its hotels, ranches, and lodges.
Guests will be able to take advantage of hiking and biking opportunities, go fly-fishing, rock climbing and zip lining. Dining options will be available at a mountaintop restaurant, while an old style saloon and chuck wagon picnic on a riverbank is also in the works. Guests will be able to sip craft beer or Montana whiskey, or watch a professional bull riders contest. Concerts, a film festival and a “Shakespeare in the Park” event are scheduled, while visitors will be able to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the US National Park Service with a tour of the first and famous national park, Yellowstone.
Located in the middle of Montana's Madison Range, the Big Sky Town Center sits at 6,200 feet and is surrounded by peaks and valleys filled with flowers and wildlife.
