China Rapidly Expands Air Travel

As part of the ongoing news that China has become the next travel frontier, the Associated Press is reporting that the country plans to open at least 45 new airports in the next five years.

According to the Associated Press, China plants to spend approximately $230 billion in air travel expansion. The cause for much of the openings has to do with a rising income in agricultural areas, and these airports will facilitate the movement of goods to major cities.
