Questex Hospitality + Travel is pleased to announce the promotion of Danielle Cirami-Gillis to global event director for the group's MICE event portfolio, Global Meeting & Incentive Travel Exchanges. Effective immediately, she is responsible for event direction, operations, sales and market development of the overall portfolio.
“As a member of the Incentive Travel Exchange launch team, Danielle has intimate knowledge of the MICE industry and has been instrumental leading the sales efforts for our entire event portfolio," stated Marilyn McHugh, vice president of global events. “With an impressive career that spans the global event arena coupled with her proven track record of exceeding sales goals, we are confident Danielle will continue to serve a key role as we further grow the brand. Cirami-Gillis first entered the tradeshow industry with PC EXPO/TECHXNY, working for tradeshow producers CMP Media, Advanstar Communications. Since then, Cirami-Gillis has repeatedly received “Sales Leader” recognition and continuous commendations for work performance and customer relations. With over 13 years’ experience in event sales and 7 working specifically in the MICE market, Cirami-Gillis had had increasing roles of responsibility with the Questex Travel Group and most recently held the position of Director of Sales for Questex Travel Group.
