Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide will debut the new Sheraton Chihuahua Soberano Hotel this November, followed by the opening of Aloft Tijuana, Aloft Coatzacoalcos and Aloft Poza Rica by 2017.
The Sheraton Chihuahua Soberano Hotel will feature 194 guestrooms and 10 suites, two signature restaurants and all of the Sheraton brand’s signature offerings, including a Sheraton Club lounge, Link@Sheraton technology and Sheraton Fitness. The venue will also offer the largest meeting space in the market, with over 14,000 square feet dedicated to major corporate, government and social events.
In addition, Aloft Tijuana, Aloft Coatzacoalcos and Aloft Poza Rica will open under the operation of Grupo Presidente. The hotels will feature loft-like guestrooms fully equipped with the brand’s signature amenities including music at W XYZ Bar, exercise at RE:CHARGE and relaxation in the outdoor Splash pool.
The hotels will also be launching the SPG Keyless system, an evolution of Aloft’s Smart Check-in, which allows guests to use their smart phone as a key.
