travel agentVacation.com has announced two additional regional training events for travel agents focused on maximizing profitability and increasing efficiencies, particularly through the use of the company's CruisePRO platform. The new events are scheduled for April 10 and 22 in Orlando, FL, and Denver, CO, respectively.

“Due to the fact that our Regional Training Events have been so popular with our members, we’ve increased the number of events throughout the U.S.,” said Vacation.com president John Lovell. “Vacation.com members look forward to attending our regional events because of our approach to education and program training. We provide them with the tools and resources to inspire their clients and ultimately grow their business while maintaining efficiencies. In addition, members walk away with a blend of Vacation.com program news, key supplier updates, and have the opportunity to network with like-minded peers.”

As part of each spring regionals training session, Vacation.com members take an in-depth look at CruisePRO, the Web-based tool that helps member agencies more easily search, compare, sell, book and manage cruise vacations in one system. Attendees also review the five biggest advantages of using CruisePRO over any other cruise booking platform, and learn how those advantages can directly boost their bottom line. In addition, attendees delve into the top 10 most-viewed items in Agent Universe, Vacation.com’s member Web portal.

“Kudos to the Vacation.com team for another spectacular training event,” said Vacation.com member Lisa Gardner of 3A-Travel Agency/3rd Alternative, Inc. in Farmingdale, NY, who attended a regional event on March 13 in Uniondale, NY. “It was a very informative afternoon. The CruisePRO training I received will save my agency time and boost profits. I also enjoyed networking with the other members and interacting with the suppliers.”

“CruisePRO has been so well-received among Vacation.com members, it became essential for us to include additional training as an integral part of our spring Regional Training Events,” said Vacation.com vice president of sales Karin Viera. “In addition, it’s fun for members and Vacation.com staff to meet face-to-face. I know our supplier partners also enjoy being a part of the round-table discussions and hearing directly from our members. The energy has been extremely high as our members are incredibly receptive to learning more about how to strengthen their business by using the tools and programs we provide.”
