Toast New Year’s With Champagne From Around the World in Vegas

The Icebar in Las Vegas reports that it will be celebrating New Year’s Eve in style with a toast of champagnes from around the world. On December 31, 2019, the venue will offer a complimentary champagne toast every hour on the hour from around the globe, starting with Oslo, Norway at 4 p.m. and ending in Las Vegas at midnight January 1, 2020. Guests can opt to continue the New Year’s festivities on the patio. And stay warm in the Igloo@Icebar dome, where KSNV Las Vegas will broadcast live from 10 p.m. to midnight. 

The schedule of champagne toasts is as follows:

4 p.m. – Oslo, Norway
5 pm. – Reykjavik, Iceland
6 p.m. – Azores Islands
7 p.m. – Greenland
8 p.m. – Nova Scotia
9 p.m. – New York
10 p.m. – Chicago
11 p.m. – Denver

Midnight – Las Vegas

The Icebar at The LINQ Promenade in Las Vegas encompasses 1,200 square feet kept at a frosty 23-degrees Fahrenheit. Made from 100 tons of ice shipped to Las Vegas from Canada and Minnesota, Icebar required 12 professional ice carvers working for three weeks to construct its dazzling ice experience filled with masterful ice carvings, dazzling projection mapping technology and other eye-popping decor surrounding a 10-foot-by-10-foot bar constructed entirely of ice.
