The poolside area of the Stanton is a sun-worshiper’s paradise with two heated pools and views of ocean. With a laid-back ambiance, the poolside area was recently updated and features new white lounge chairs and day beds, which sit atop modern tiling and wooden timber decks. Polishing the area, landscaping surrounds the pools and accents the tropical nature of South Beach.
Adjacent to the pools, the new outdoor terrace serves as a hang-out spot for guests and locals to meet and mingle. Complete with private cabanas, lounge seating and greenery, the terrace is the perfect spot to settle in whether you’re reading a book or enjoying cocktails.
The ocean view terrace, alongside the pool area can be rented out for parties and functions. Anything from weddings ceremonies, receptions and BBQs to cocktail receptions, photoshoots, and evening dinners. Each event varies on the price depending on the time of year, and what is entailed. The average rental fee is around $1,000 or there may be a food and beverage minimum depending on the occasion.
Pool service is available to guests provided by the Stanton’s in-house restaurant — Deco Blue. This restaurant happens to be the only restaurant right on Ocean Drive where nothing is between you and views of the ocean's horizon.
Millennials can also enjoy small, poolside snacks and cocktails from a bold, flavorful menu of American cuisine, from fresh seafood, sushi, hamburgers and more to colorful, tropical cocktails.
A favorite among locals and guests, the "Dirty Banana" is definitely at the top of the must try list when it comes to Deco Blue’s cocktail list. A combination of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, Rumchata, Kahlua, banana, cream of coconut and chocolate syrup, this concoction is a fun, and refreshing way to lighten up and cool down on a hot Miami summer day.
