American Airlines announced in February that it will launch nonstop service between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and San Jose, Costa Rica, on April 6.
Now, for a limited time, AAdvantage members can earn up to 5,000 AAdvantage bonus miles for each Business class roundtrip flown on the new route, or 2,500 bonus miles for Economy class. To participate in this offer, simply register prior to travel and fly between April 6 and June 30.
The new San Jose flight will depart five times a week from JFK, every day except Friday and Sunday. American will fly the route with a Boeing 757 aircraft with 16 seats in Business Class and 166 seats in the Economy cabin.
