New Dubrovnik Hotels Cater to Business Travelers

Dubrovnik

Two new hotels geared towards business travelers and the meeting industry opened last month in Dubrovnik: The Valamar Lacroma Resort and the Radisson Blu Resort and Spa. The new properties significantly increase Dubrovnik’s room capacity, with 385 rooms at Lacroma and 201 rooms and 207 luxury apartments at Radisson Blu.

The Valamar Lacroma Resort is the largest hotel conference hall in Croatia with a total capacity of up to 1,000 people. The conference hall can be divided into four sections and has outdoor access, making it ideal for car launches and exhibitions. The congress center has seven separate meeting rooms whose walls can be partially removed to create larger exhibition areas.

The Radisson Blu Resort and Spa can hold up to 900 delegates. The conference hall offers the added value of a separate hotel entrance, allowing for easy and quick access whether delegates are guests of the hotel or arriving from outside. The Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 850 participants in a theater-style set up and can be divided into three parts with each a separate soundproof pre-functional area. (A special feature of this hotel is that the apartments can yield an almost unlimited number of smaller breaks-out rooms.)
