Princess Cruises’ new Royal Princess is home to the Lotus Spa, headed by John Chernesky, director of spa operations aboard the vessel. The spa is located near the ship’s main atrium, and will have a relaxation lounge for guests to access before treatments.

The Lotus Spa’s treatment rooms also include two Couple’s Villas, a new concept aboard a Princess Cruises’ ship. These rooms include side-by-side massage tables and a whirlpool bath as well as a private seating area offering ocean views.

Another new concept available is the Enclave thermal suite, triple the size of thermal suites available aboard other Princess ships. The Enclave provides stone beds, water beds, a Turkish Hammam and a hydrotherapy pool with rain shower and massage jets. Also available is a dry heat sauna and herbal steam room. Guests can end their stay at the spa with one of four showers with mood lighting and aroma infusions.
