A-ROSA River Cruises Completes First European Sailing Geared Toward North American Travelers

David Morris International's (DMI) most recent partner, A-ROSA River Cruises, completed its first sailing geared exclusively toward the North American traveler. A-ROSA River Cruises, A Toast to Provence & Burgundy, embarked on its maiden voyage June 1, 2013.

Travelers boarded the A-ROSA Stella in Lyon for a seven-day round-trip excursion complete with five-star cuisine, local wines and spirits, live French entertainment, spa treatments and a meal by chef Paul Bocuse in his formal dining room as they traveled across Europe’s riversides, cities, villages and landscapes. David Morris International hand selected the destinations including Rhone, Ardéche and Avignon to provide passengers with culinary experiences and fine French wine.

Each boarding ticket included a full open bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cuisine, gratuities, a selection of shore excursions and taxes.

A-ROSA will continue to offer deals on the Rhone and Rhine rivers, including waiving single supplements, subject to availability, and recently reduced pricing from $2,600 for the Rhine and $3,100 for the Rhone/Saone cruises. For travelers aboard A Toast to Provence & Burgundy, "Sweet Dreams" Food Network star Gale Gand with join the Aug. 17, 2013 and Aug. 24, 2013 sailings, while "The Hearty Boys" and owners of TRIO restaurant will be aboard the Aug. 10, 2013 cruise.
