Adventure Canada's Northwest Passage Declared Canadian Signature Experience

The Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC), Canada’s national tourism marketing organization, revealed its collection of 2014 Canadian Signature Experiences, including Adventure Canada’s 17-day Northwest Passage East to West voyage. The collection is showcased internationally. The Northwest Passage East to West trip travels from Kangerlussuaq, Greenland to Kugluktuk, Nunavut and this year will depart Aug. 12, 2014.

During the Northwest Passage East to West trip, guests cross the Arctic Circle and cruise among icebergs, learn Arctic history and folklore, encounter marine life such as beluga whales and polar bears and immerse themselves in Inuit culture such as throat singing and drum dancing. The family-run company also offers the same expedition in the opposite direction – West to East – departing Nunavut on Aug. 28, 2014 and returning to Greenland on Sept. 11, 2014.
