AmaWaterways has announced the debut of its first "Taste of Bordeaux" sailings along the Garonne and Dordogne rivers onboard the AmaDolce.
The seven-night roundtrip Bordeaux sailings visit famous châteaux and vineyards, with stops at Cadillac’s Roquetaillaide Castle, a Grand Cru Classé wine tasting in Pauillac, an excursion at Château de Montaigne in Libourne and more. Optional pre- and/or post-cruise land extensions are available with panoramic city tours in Paris and additional château visits and wine tastings in the Loire Valley. Ten of AmaWaterways’ 24 “Taste of Bordeaux” sailings in 2016 will be special wine-themed voyages, led by top wine experts.
AmaDolce features an array of AmaWaterways’ signature design features and amenities, including French balconies, marble-appointed bathrooms, a fitness room with sauna, walking track, hair and nail services, and nightly entertainment in the Main Lounge. Staterooms are equipped with Entertainment on Demand systems, giving travelers complimentary Internet access, the latest movies, music libraries and more. Complimentary unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks are available with lunch and dinner; and complimentary bottled water is provided daily in all staterooms.
