AmaWaterways recently hosted Expedia CruiseShipCenters’ top-producing franchisees onboard the AmaSonata on April 25 for the 2016 President’s Circle Diamond Reward Cruise.
During the one-week sailing, 25 associates and their guests traveled along the Lower Danube to explore the region’s cultural diversity and history. Kristin Karst and Rudi Schreiner, co-owners of AmaWaterways, were present during the voyage, as well as Matthew Eichhorst, president, and Geraldine Ree, senior vice president of Expedia CruiseShipCenters.
The 2016 President’s Circle Diamond Reward Cruise sailed through Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria, making stops in Vukovar, Croatia and visiting the Iron Gates and the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest on Orthodox Easter Sunday.
In addtion, the sailing included a surprise visit to the Vahali Shipyards in Serbia to celebrate the christening of AmaKristina.
