Another Costa Exec Moves To Carnival

The executive shake out at Carnival Cruise Lines continues as the line stays within the Carnival family of brands to name its new vice president of field sales.

Joni Rein, the vice president of sales development for Costa Cruises, will assume the new duty effective June 16. She will report to Lynn Torrent, Carnival's senior vice president of sales and guest services, who, herself, left Costa for Carnival back in February after the departure of long-time Carnival executive Vicki Freed. Torrent was the president and CEO of Costa.

In Rein's new role, she will oversee Carnival's field sales efforts, specifically as they relate to the travel agent community. She too will lead Carnival's corporate and incentive sales efforts as well as the line's business development services department, which assists the daily business needs of agents.
