Avalon Waterways Christens Scenery

Avalon Waterways has launched its newest riverboat, Avalon Scenery, the third riverboat the line has launched in Europe in two years. The 138-passenger ship is being touted as a “boutique hotel,” with, among other features, hotel-style beds and bedding, floor-to-ceiling windows, modern bathrooms and flat-screen TV’s.

In 2008, the ship will sail the Flavors of Burgundy & Provence itinerary, with 32 departures between April and November. Pricing begins around $2,000 per person. Travelers who book an Avalon Waterways Europe vacation by May 31 will receive $100 off per person. Visit www.avalonwaterways.com.
