Azamara Club Cruises' Land Discoveries Promotion Offers Complimentary Shore Excursions

From today through Dec. 15, travelers who book select 2014 Mediterranean voyages can access a complimentary Land Discoveries shore excursion at each port of call to further delve into a destination’s cultures and ambiance. This Land Discoveries opportunity allows guests to choose among three excursions per port and also complements Azamara’s AzAmazing Evenings events, which are held on each voyage and brings destination to life exclusively for the cruise line’s guests.

From April through November 2014, both of Azamara’s boutique-style ships, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest, will sail the Mediterranean on a variety of itineraries from the Spanish, French and Italian Rivieras to the Greek Isles.

Azamara Quest’s April 11 voyage 'A Mediterranean Easter' coincides with the region's elaborate Easter festivities.Guests will enjoy two days in Rome where church bells peal out across the city as Palm Sunday is celebrated. During the voyage, guests also will visit the Amalfi coast with an overnight in Sorrento, before heading to Siracusa to the catacombs of St. John.  Concluding the 11-night voyage are port calls at Trapani on Good Friday, where guests can enjoy the lifelike floats and processions, and Livorno on Easter, where guests can explore Tuscany and Florence.
