Bat Mitzvah Cruising

Girls (or women) looking for a new way to celebrate their Bat Mitzvah can turn to Ellen Paderson of Bar/Bat Mitzvah Vacations, Inc., a division of Smiles and Miles Travel. Introducing the "Dor L'Dor Bat Mitzvah Cruises."

Paderson, who never had a Bat Mitzvah of her own, has designed the program to accommodate women of all ages. These cruises include traditional ceremonies led by a cantor or rabbi.

Paderson will also make a donation in honor of each participant to a charity of the participant's choice.

The cruises will be aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. The Bat Mitzvah Cruises are aboard Radiance of the Seas, which departs from Tampa January 13, 2011 and Explorer of the Seas, which departs from New Jersey on July 2, 2011.
