Celebrity Cruises appointed travel industry veteran Brian Holmberg to the position of regional sales manager and San Francisco team lead. Holmberg will lead Celebrity Cruises bay area sales & marketing team which owns Celebrity's consumer and trade strategy, media planning, public relations, consumer research, local event marketing and partnership programs in the Greater San Francisco market.
Holmberg, a 20-year veteran of the cruise industry, spent his entire career within Carnival Corporation, first with Holland America and for the past fifteen years with Carnival Cruise Lines. Since 2008, Brian has held the position of director of strategic partnerships, responsible for over $170 million in annual sales revenue, managing a portfolio of the line’s largest strategic accounts
"Brian's extensive industry knowledge, proven performance, and strategic thought process will serve him well with Celebrity," said Scott Clifton, director of sales with Celebrity Cruises, in a prepared statement. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Central Washington University.
