This week, Carnival Cruise Line and the Frisco RoughRiders held their Second Annual Carnival Kids Day. The event hosted over 500 underprivileged kids from both national and local organizations and included a variety of family-friendly sports activities. Among the groups represented were Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Club, HopeKids North Texas and Frisco Family Services.
At the event, kids and parents worked on their baseball pitches with an inflatable ball toss, created airbrush backpacks, participated in an inflatable obstacle course, and took personalized photos for their very own baseball cards.
Carnival will also be hosting a variety of family-friendly activities throughout the 2015 RoughRiders season and pledges to match donations made by fans for the RoughRiders Foundation.
Earlier this week, Carnival launched its “Carnival Crush Inning” promotion, giving families the chance to win a free Carnival Cruise vacation during the RoughRiders games. Interested fans can sign up at RidersBaseball.com for more information.
Carnival Cruise Line will also be hosting a Carnival Getaway Grill this summer, an all-inclusive family party featuring unlimited hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, Dr. Pepper and more.
