Carnival Cruise Lines Offers Bonus Commissions on Carnival Splendor Bookings

Carnival Cruise Lines is offering travel agents a $25 bonus commission on new individual Carnival Splendor bookings made between July 12 - Aug. 31, 2013. This new bonus commission is being implemented as part of recent Carnival Conversations feedback indicating positive travel agent response toward incremental earning opportunities.

Carnival announced the bonus commission to an audience of 200 travel agents at the first Carnival Conversations road show, held aboard Carnival Splendor in New York City. Carnival Conversations, the line’s new travel agent outreach program, is designed to increase dialogue and strengthen ties with travel agents.

Beginning in 2014, Carnival will add new four- and five-day Canada cruises, seven-day Canada/New England departures and a program of eight-day eastern Caribbean voyages operating one-way between New York and San Juan aboard Carnival Splendor. These new cruises are in addition to the ship’s year-round eight-day departures that showcase destinations in the Caribbean, The Bahamas and Central Florida.

The new one-way eight-day cruises are particularly noteworthy, operating from New York to San Juan or vice versa, with stops at St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Antigua and St. Maarten.  Carnival Splendor will offer three New York-to-San Juan cruises departing Oct. 24, 2014, and Jan. 12 and Feb. 13, 2015, along with three San Juan-to-New York voyages departing Nov. 1, 2014, and Jan. 20 and Feb. 21, 2015.

The Carnival Splendor bonus commission is only available to U.S. travel agents and applies to new individual bookings. Certain other restrictions apply.
