Carnival Destiny Sets Southern Caribbean Schedule

Carnival Cruise Lines' Carnival Destiny will chart a new course come January. It will begin six-night sailings calling on five ports: St. Lucia, Antigua, Dominica, Barbados and St. Thomas/St. John. The 2,642-passenger "Fun Ship" will sail from San Juan. The new itinerary gives passengers a great deal of variety, says Bob Dickinson, Carnival's president and CEO, who adds that it "provides consumers with an opportunity to experience a diversity of cultures and historical landmarks, along with some of the world's most magnificent beaches."
