Celebrity Cruises has opened bookings on its 2017 and 2018 cruises in the Caribbean and South America for Captain's Club members, with general bookings set to open December 18.

Caribbean Cruises

Celebrity's 2017 and 2018 Caribbean season will include Celebrity Reflection's new 10- and 11-night sailings roundtrip from Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale), Florida, visiting St. John’s, Antigua; Castries, St. Lucia; Oranjestad, Aruba; Kralendijk, Bonaire; and Philipsburg, St. Maarten. These itineraries will also include a Mardi Gras Signature Event Sailing

Celebrity Equinox will sail seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean vacations roundtrip from Miami, Florida, with ports of call including Key West, Florida – a first for Celebrity’s Solstice Class – Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; Georgetown, Grand Cayman and more.

In addition to Celebrity Summit and Celebrity Silhouette’s seven-night sailings, these ships will present a series of new nine- to 12-night sailings that include visits to Kingstown, St. Vincent; Castries, St. Lucia; Roseau, Dominica; St. George’s, Grenada and Philipsburg, St. Maarten.

Celebrity Eclipse will sail fourteen-night itineraries roundtrip from Miami, with overnights in either Aruba or Curacao

Additionally, the line will offer an overnight stay on every Caribbean sailing of 10 nights or longer at destinations in St. Maarten, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Barbados and more. The 2017-2018 season will also mark the debut of the refreshed Celebrity Summit, which is set to undergo an $8 million renovation in 2016 that will add the new "Rooftop Terrace" venue, the Tuscan Grille and upgrades to the ship's Suite Class amenities.

Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy new Uniquely Celebrity excursions called “Ellen Prager’s Ocean Discoveries,” curated by Celebrity’s Regional Destination Expert, Dr. Ellen Prager, a renowned marine scientist and author. These excursions provide adventures to explore marine life and the underwater world.

South America, the Panama Canal and Antarctica Cruises

Based on demand Celebrity will add another opportunity to sail to Antarctica onboard Celebrity Infinity in 2017 and 2018, along with visits to Argentina, Chile and Brazil. The ship will be fresh off a refresh similar to that of Celebrity Summit, including the addition of the Rooftop Terrace. Celebrity also will continue its popular Panama Canal cruises, sailing between the U.S. east and west coasts in 2017-2018.

The line's Carnival Signature Event Sailing will return for another season in Rio de Janeiro, allowing guests to samba down the Sambadrome of Rio in costume and makeup, witness the samba parade in grandstand or VIP seating, or take samba lessons and dance at the cruise line's party.

Celebrity will also offer cultural experiences from Regional Destination Expert Milos Radakovich, a broadcaster, traveler and adventurer, who teamed up with the cruise line to design exclusive shore excursions called “Milos Radakovich’s Wildlife Explorations.” These journeys include trips to see wildlife like frigatebirds, penguins, non-migratory sea lions, dolphins and other wonders in Ecuador, Uruguay, Argentina and the Falkland Islands.

The Galápagos Islands Cruises

In 2018 the 100-guest Celebrity Xpedition will continue to offer adventure cruises in the Galápagos Islands. Seven- to 15-night itineraries will offer explorations of the area's history and wildlife, including Galápagos penguins, flightless cormorants and marine iguanas.

Regional Destination Expert Dr. Prager will curate Celebrity’s Galápagos experiences and put together a team of highly knowledgeable local naturalists to assist guests.

Celebrity Xpedition emerged from a drydock in September 2015, where it underwent a refresh to include new, upgraded outdoor dining furniture; new upholstery, carpet, lighting and chairs in the main dining room – Darwin’s Restaurant; the main lounge, which offers the only video wall onboard a ship sailing the Galápagos; new art created by local artists; and the creation of an additional upscale Xpedition Suite. All stateroom bathrooms were enhanced with new vanities, sinks and décor, and all staterooms received new vanity chairs, tables and sofas. A group of suites received upgraded cabinetry, and the Penthouse Suite was reconfigured with refreshed furnishings and décor, among other ship enhancements, such as an upgraded air conditioning system and stronger internet connectivity.

New Cruise Offer

Celebrity is also offering a “Go Big, Go Better, Go Best!” offer for nearly all of the brand’s 2017-2018 sailings. Guests who book an oceanview or higher stateroom and “Go Big” can enjoy a free perk from the choice of Classic Beverage Packages, unlimited internet packages, gratuities or $150 to spend onboard. Vacationers can even choose to upgrade and “Go Better” to get their choice of two perks, or “Go Best” and get all four perks, plus a Premium beverage package upgrade.
