Celebrity Cruises has announced the appointment of Mark M. Washo to its Washington, DC, team manager position.
Washo will lead a team responsible for the development and execution of Celebrity Cruises' sales and marketing strategy, media planning, event activation, public relations and partnership marketing efforts within the Washington, DC, region.
An adjunct professor at Georgetown University for the past six years, Washo has over 20 years of leadership experience in senior level sales, marketing and business development positions within the entertainment, sports and travel industries. In 2004, Washo authored the book Break into Sports through Ticket Sales. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in marketing from The State University of New York at Fredonia.
Washo will officially start at Celebrity on March 30.
