Celebrity Cruises took ownership of its newest ship, the Celebrity Silhouette, on July 18 in a celebratory ceremony.

An invitation-only naming ceremony and cruise will take place July 21-23 before the Celebrity Silhouette sets sail from Hamburg, Germany for a seven-night cruise to Civitavecchia, Rome. Once there, the ship will participate in 12-night Mediterranean and Holy Land sailings until November, where it will offer cruises from the east coast of the United States.

The Celebrity Silhouette includes the Lawn Club Grill, an interactive venue where the guests aid in cooking the meal alongside expert Celebrity chefs, as well as a wi-fi equipped cabana called The Alcoves, a casual dining location for sandwiches called The Porch and Celebrity’s very own art studio.
