CLIA Announces Addition of Three Global Cruise Line Members

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has announced the addition of three Global Cruise Line Members: TUI Cruises, Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, and Emerald Waterways. The three lines join the growing number of CLIA's Global Cruise Line Members, now totaling 31 cruises lines.

The three lines, formerly Regional Cruise Line Members within CLIA, represent the global cruise industry's offerings with the addition of ocean, river, and luxury cruises exploring ports worldwide.

About CLIA's newest Global Cruise Line Members:

TUI Cruises: Founded in 2008, TUI Cruises is a joint venture between TUI AG and Royal Caribbean. The line calls in ports in northern Europe, the Baltic Sea and the Mediterranean in summer and Canary Islands, the Orient, Asia, the Caribbean and Central America in winter. The all-inclusive cruises offer large spa areas, service restaurants, and an entertainment program designed to appeal to all audiences. TUI Cruises is currently expanding with a new ship, the Mein Schiff 6, setting sail this year and broadening the fleet to six ships. Two further new builds are planned for 2018 and 2019.

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours: Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours recently celebrated 30 years in business and offers both river and, in 2018, ocean cruises. The ships call in ports in European destinations including France, Portugal and Asia. The company's Space-Ships are built for adventure and offer luxury accommodations and tour options.

Emerald Waterways: As part of the Scenic Family of Brands, Emerald Waterways boasts a custom-built fleet with boutique hotel amenities. The cruise line caters to the four-star plus market with an inclusive pricing plan using five-star ships and service. The ships sail to destinations like Amsterdam, Germany and Hungary
