Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has announced it will host a series of events at the 2016 Seatrade Cruise Global conference in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

CLIA will host two networking events exclusively for its Executive Partner Members, giving them the opportunity to engage with more than 100 cruise line executives. CLIA Business on the Beach, a cocktail and networking reception, is set the evening of March 14, the eve of Seatrade Cruise Global. CLIA Connect, located on the trade show floor, will host CLIA Executive Partner and Cruise Line members on the afternoon of March 16 at the CLIA booth. Both events require registration.

Acting CEO Cindy D’Aoust will welcome attendees at the 2016 State of the Global Cruise Industry Session from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15. Setting the course of the annual event, the session focuses on cruise industry innovation, with executives from the world's leading cruise lines and members of CLIA's Global Executive Committee, including: Arnold Donald, president and CEO, Carnival Corporation; Frank Del Rio, president and CEO, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.; Pierfrancesco Vago, executive chairman, MSC Cruises; and Richard Fain, chairman and CEO, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.

The State of the Global Cruise Industry session will also include a panel of three additional cruise line leaders – Charles A. Robertson, chairman and CEO, American Cruise Lines; Edie Rodriguez, president and CEO, Crystal Cruises; and Tara Russell, president, Fathom and global impact lead, Carnival Corporation. Travel Detective Peter Greenberg will moderate the sessions and Peter Yesawich, vice chairman, MMGY Global, will share relevant research and insights.
