Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has announced that its annual Plan a Cruise Month campaign will become a global initiative when it launches again this October, expanding upon last year’s individual efforts from CLIA offices around the world.

Plan a Cruise Month is being celebrated throughout North America, Australasia and Europe, with tailored efforts to meet the needs of each market. While the effort focuses on consumer awareness of cruise travel, it also is designed to highlight CLIA-certified travel agents as the best way to book a cruise holiday as well as provide travel agents with the tools and resources to promote booking cruise travel to new and current clients.

Plan a Cruise month will officially run through the month of October 2016. More details on the initiative, as well as tools and resources will be available in the coming months.
