Compagnie du Ponant Announces Le Soleal Will Sail July, 2013

Compagnie du Ponant has announced Le Soleal will launch in July, 2013.

The 264-passenger ship will visit the Arctic for her inaugural season. From the North West Passage to the Bering Strait, Le Soleal's guests will be able to view wildlife including polar bears, wolves, puffins, walrus and beluga whales. Excursions in zodiacs, hiking and helicopter tours will be available to guests.

Le Soleal, like her sisters Le Boreal and L'Austral, is expected to win a CLEANSHIP certificate, complying with the demanding requirements: dynamic-positioning; advanced waste water treatment; reduced fuel consumption and emissions; and underwater detection system.

Designed by architect Jean-Philippe Nuel, Le Soleal will contain restaurants, lounges, a library, theatre and spa, offering guests a wide range of five-star ammenities.

Meals, open bar, stocked mini-bar, a welcome-abord cocktail party, 24-hour room service, all entertainment, gratuities and port charges and fees are all included in the new all-inclusive pricing. Air, optional excursions and transfers are additional.
